Fall Front Porch

Howdy y'all!  How was your weekend?  We had beautiful weather and a random heat wave this weekend.  It hit close to 80 degrees out by our house yesterday which is very unusual for Seattle in October, but I loved it!  We also got family pictures taken for Baby A's 2nd birthday.  I'm super excited to see how they turned out.

I was also finally able to complete our front porch after our trip to the pumpkin patch on Friday.  As usual I'm a little behind most with this, but I'm so happy with how it turned out.

I like a traditional front porch.  Pumpkins and mums and all the fall colors are a must at our house.

I used my wreath as the inspiration for the rest of the porch.

I love these little cannon ball pumpkins.  They are the perfect size and just so cute!

The pumpkin patch has barrels and barrels of these little gourds.  I love having these scattered around the house during the season.

I filled an Ikea lantern with some fake gourds I'd picked up at Michaels last month.  I may end up moving the white pumpkins inside for our tablescape, but for now I'm happy with them here.

I love mums.  They are the quintessential fall flower.  I picked these ones up at Home Depot.  They are large and fill the space perfectly.

Baby A helped pick out the little gourds.  She did a pretty good job I'd say.

Have you finished all your fall decorating?  Am I the last one to the party as usual?
Now that this is complete the rest of the week will be spent planning for Baby A's party on Saturday.  I can't believe my little girl is going to be 2 on Wednesday!

  1. Wow!! Look at you with all the fall decor! I feel completely slack now. I've been into baking with the pumpkins rather than displaying them.

You have such a welcoming doorway. Good for you.

    Wishing you a lovely evening.

    1. Thanks Jennifer! Baking with pumpkins is really way better than decorating with them if you ask me. I love all things pumpkin when it comes to food!

      xoxo!
