Tiff's Favorites: Fall Fashion

I know I keep saying it, but I love Fall.  LOVE IT!  There is only 1 thing I don't like about Fall and that's the potential for a lot of rain.  We live in Seattle so you understand why.

One of my most favorite things about Fall is breaking out my cozy Fall wardrobe.  I tend to be a basics kind of girl when it comes to fashion; I don't take a lot of risks.  I like to have my clothes last me more than one season, so I don't usually go for a lot of things that are on trend.

That said, thanks to my girl Sheaffer over at Pinterest Told Me To I have stepped up my fashion game this year.  She has been keeping me, and many other ladies, in style.  Check out her list of Fall Style Staples.

Here are some of my Fall fashion favorites:

Boots.  I adore boots.  I first showed you guys these boots in my Labor Day Fabulous Friday post.  I have 2 of the 3 above pairs of Enzo boots; black and grey.  And I love them.  I get compliments on them all the time, especially the grey ones.  You can find them HERE.  I also got a pair of Frye boots during the sale.  Yes, they are a little pricey (even on sale they were more than I usually pay), but I've learned that if you find a great pair that will last a long time, it's worth it in the long run when I'll wear multiple days during the week for many years.  You can click HERE to shop all women's boots at Nordstrom.

Sweaters.  I love a good, cozy sweater.  I've been eyeing this one at the Loft for a few weeks now and I think I'm going to pull the trigger here soon.  I love the mixed stripes!

I really like cardigan's as well.

I live in them in the Fall and Winter.  THIS one has my name written all over it!  I can already picture myself wrapped up in this sweater drinking my morning coffee.

THIS sweater is a great simple option.  It comes in many colors including a cream that I really like as well.  Click HERE to shop all Loft tops and sweaters and HERE to shop all Nordstrom sweaters.

Jeans.  I mean duh right?  We all love jeans.  Most of us live in them day to day and some of us (myself included) are very, very picky about our jeans.  I used to consider myself a bit of a jean snob.  I'd only buy designer jeans.  Hudson, 7's, Citizens, Paige.  You name the designer I probably own a pair.  But, I've learned to find other brands and work with my body type.
I've mentioned THESE jeans before HERE, and I will say it again.  They are fabulous.  I have the pair above, and this pair as well.  I don't love how the look on the model (probably because I don't love her shoes) but they look fantastic on.  If you don't believe me you can see Sheaffer modeling them, and the pair in the picture above, HERE.  They really look just like Hudsons for a quarter of the price really.

Leopard.  Now, I know that leopard isn't exactly a basics kind of print.  But I am now convinced that leopard is like a neutral.  You can wear it with so many things and it works!  These Sam Edelman flats are in my bag and ready to be purchased this morning.  I love a good flat and this one has great reviews.  I'm so excited to start incorporating it into my everyday waredrobe.
Not convinced?  Just check out how these ladies styled their leopard flats.

I'm dying over this outfit!  Dying!  It is so perfect!

I mean she paird leopard with gingham and looks adorable!  Leopard for the win!

Military jacket.  Now, this may be a little more on trend, sort of, but I have a black military jacket that I've had for years and it's still in style.  It's nice to have a light weight jacket for those days where a Winter coat is just a bit too much.  Click HERE for the jacket above.  It's a great price.  I also like THIS one.  It's a bit more pricey but I really like the look of it.

Scarves.  I love scarves.  I have quite a growing collection thanks mostly to my hubby's travels to India.  He always brings me back some beautiful handmade scarves.  I love the colors in THIS one.  It's bright, but still gives a hint of Fall with the yellow and orange.

This plaid scarf screams Fall.  I love the colors and even how it's styled in this picture.  Love.  Click HERE to shop all Nordstrom scarves under $100.  If you're looking for something different I really think THIS scarf is fun.  And a great price.  And if you like the leopard trend, but shoes are just a bit too much for you, THIS scarf will give you just a pop of leopard.

And there you have my favorites for Fall fashion!  What do you love to wear during the Fall months? I'd love to hear from you.  I'm always looking to add great pieces to my cold weather collection.

    1. They are fantastic! I almost felt like I was betraying them by getting the Frye boots, but I love my Frye's too.

      Thanks for coming by Louisa!
