Dada Huebie

Happy Friday y'all!  In my Father's Day Gift Ideas post, I mentioned giving Huebie, aka Kellen, some more air time on here.  I always want to give credit where credit is due, and he deserves more credit than I probably give him.

Huebie and I have been married a little over 3 years now.  We weren't high school sweethearts. We didn't meet in college.  We met playing on a co-ed softball team for a former employer of mine.  We started out as just friends, but little did I know he was waiting for the right time to strike.  And strike he did, with flowers and gifts and humor and a proposal in Germany (well played Huebie, well played).

He is a hard worker and does everything he can to provide for his family.  He has been traveling constantly this last year for his full time job, which has be difficult on all of us.  But not only does he have a full time gig that keeps him busy 50-60+ hours a week, he's working on getting our family sled business up and running.  The man is a little busy to say the least.
(For more info on Molson Runner Sleds you can visit our facebook page Here.  Shameless plug, I know, but they are freaking awesome sleds and you will never have to buy another sled for the rest of your life.  The sleds we use are 30 years old and still work perfect.  Not another sled.  Ever.  I promise.)

Not every day with this man is enjoyable though let me tell you.  He can be stubborn and man does he talk a lot (for those of you know know him you know what I'm talking about but for those who don't, trust me, this man is never short of words), but that's why people love him.  He is the most likeable person I've ever met and he can win over anyone.  And have I mentioned he's an amazing father to baby A?  Well he is.  He is so engaged with her and all her activities, and he just plain loves being a dada.  He misses her every day while he's at work and traveling really takes a tole on him.  But he's doing what he needs to do to provide us with an amazing life.

The man is like a big kid I swear; which can at times be so aggravating, but at the end of the day is exactly who he's meant to be and I love him for it.

So as Father's Day approaches, I just want to say thank you Kellen for being such a wonderful husband and fantastic father.  Baby A and I are so very blessed with such a wonderful man in our lives.  Happy Father's Day!
